This raku fired bowl measures approx. 4 inches (10 cm) high and 5.5 inches (14 cm) across at the top.

The lotus design is from a wood block hand carved in India, originally used to print designs on fabric with natural plant dyes. Some wood blocks I collected while travelling in India, others have been obtained by others who import them.

Around the back of the bowl I like to place a leaf (when in season), a dragonfly image (if requested) or simply patches of raku glaze which compliments the lotus colors.
